Inland Empire Wing is a wing of the "Commemorative Air Force"
The mission of the Commemorative Air Force is education, such that generations of Americans will value and support the contributions of military aviation in assuring our nation’s freedom.
Our D-Day Doll and her intrepid Crew are on the move!
Our world-traveling crew concluded their mission to Normandy, France and Berlin, Germany last summer celebrating the Candy Bomber runs and 75th anniversary of D-Day.
We met many old warriors of World War II, getting to know them and allowing them to sit in the cockpit of an old familiar friend or taking them into the skies on a tour of their youth as they stood up for freedom.
We took part in historic flights before dignitaries and families of the WWII of veterans. We walked in places only read about or personally experienced by the young men of WWII. From famous beaches to historic bars, to memorials and even graves. Thank all servicemen and women for what they did when we needed them most.
Of course, none of this could have happened without the support of you!
Thanks to all who supported her!
